Elvis Presley's Direct Line Palatine German Ancestors

http://www.elvisancestors.0catch.com/Elvis'%20Palatine%20German%20Ancestors.html

There are historian's that believe that Elvis has German lineage. There have been many articles and a few books Stating that Elvis has Scottish lineage. Many ask what is the truth?

Lorina Bolig has discovered evidence that Elvis did have Scottish lineage, but not through Andrew Presley as Allan Morrison has suggested.

Through her research, she has located documented history, ship records, census records, and many other remarkable sources, which show Andrew was in fact a Palatine German. He came to the Americas with his father Valintin Bressler and his mother from Palatine Germany in 1710 on a ship named FAME.

Allan Morrison suggested in his book "The Presley Prophecy" that Elvis' Great Grandfather Andrew was from Lonmay in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Lorina Bolig the author of "Ancestors of Elvis Aaron Presley 50 Generations Revised and Edited Edition" has evidence proving his grandfather to be from Germany. Elvis' Andrew did not marry a woman named Elspeth Leg.

Elvis' ancestors of his direct line are Andreas Andrew Presley born 1704 in Germany and died 1759 in Anson, North Carolina, USA. He was six years old when he came to the Americas with his father and mother from Germany. His wife's name was Anna Wells born 1697 in Southold, Suffolk, New York, USA and died 1765 in Anson, North Carolina, USA.

Between May and November of 1709, Elvis' 6th Great Grandfather Johannes Valintine Bressler, arrived in London. From there they came to New York in 1710. Thirty years of war and devastation caused the Palatine's to gather their belongings and cross the ocean, hoping for a better future. Johann Valentine Bressler/Preslar/Presley, his wife, 3 sons, and 2 daughters came to New York on a ship. The name of the ship was Fame. The Captain of the ship was Walter Houxton. The ship arrived June 14, 1710, from London to New York. Johann Valentine and his family are on the ships New York - German Passenger Lists, 1710, Third List. Hunter number 82. Johann Valentin Bressler, 41, Anna Christiana, 36, Anna Elisabetha, 14, Anna Gertrud, 12, Andreas, 6, Antoni, 4, (son), 1 1/2 Presler, Bresseler; Roman Catholic; 1st arrivals in London. The passenger list is based on the first part (75 names) of the 1 July 1710 subsistence list along with any who appear to have been part of their households. Johann Adolph Arthopoeus, a passenger listed below, was the list master on the ship Fame which arrived 14 June 1710 indicating most of these passengers were most likely on that ship. This list was taken during the voyage from London to New York.

Elvis does have Scottish roots, but they date back further to the Kings and Queens of Scotland. Allan's Andrew, is by no means the same Andrew that is the Ancestor of Elvis or his Presley relatives.

There is further evidence of Andrew being a Palatine German. His father Valentin Presler, is listed in "The Book of Names Especially Relating to The Early Palatines and the First Settlers in the Mohawk Valley Compiled and Arranged by Lou D. MacWethy. Published by The Enterprise and News, St. Johnsville, NY., 1933". "In the Index--To the Kocherthal Church Records." and "The Book of Names Especially Relating to The Early Palatines and the First Settlers in the Mohawk ValleyCompiled and Arranged by Lou D. MacWethy. Published by The Enterprise and News, St. Johnsville, NY., 1933". Colonial Census of 1710 List of Palatines Remaining in New York From vol. III Documentary History of New York." There is more of Valentin being listed along with his family, among these Documentary records.

The Author has detailed sources that can show the reader beyond a doubt that Elvis's ancestors came from Palatine Germany. Showing that Elvis has German roots, remarkably sourced in "Ancestors of Elvis Aaron Presley 50 Generations Revised and Edited Edition". This amazing genealogy will show the reader many Royal lines, sharecroppers, and even some interesting surprises. From Palatine Germany to London England and then New York his family Journeyed to Maryland, the Carolina's, Tennessee, Missouri, Arkansas, and Mississippi.
