ANNE WHITE was the first child of RUFUS WHITE and ELIZABETH WHITE (nee LEIGH) and was born about 1812 in Hawkchurch, Dorset, England. ANNE was baptised on 3rd November 1812 in Hawkchurch, Dorset, England. ANNE married WILLIAM CHANNELL and six of ANNE and WILLIAM's nine children where born in Ilminster, Somerset, England. ANNE, WILLIAM and their children WILLIAM, ELIZABETH, JAMES, KEIZA and MARY left England via Plymouth in Devon on 8th April 1849 aboard the barque "Mary Bannatyne" but it appears that LUCY had died prior to the journey. The master of the vessel was Captain McKIRDY and the CHANNELL family arrived in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on 26th July 1949. WILLIAM went to work for the MACARTHURS at Camden Park and and three more children were born in Camden, New South Wales, Australia. Unfortunately ANNE died in 1856 in Camden, New South Wales, Australia.
