"...Ann Eliza Young (September 13, 1844–1925) also known as Ann Eliza Webb Dee Young Denning was one of Brigham Young's fifty-five wives and later a critic of polygamy. She spoke out against the suppression of women and was an advocate for women's rights during the 19th century.
She was born in 1844 in Nauvoo, Illinois to Chauncey Griswold Webb and his wife, born Eliza Jane Churchill.
Webb married James Dee monogamously on April 4, 1863 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had two children together and later divorced. ..."

Although she later called herself Young's "wife no. 19," others have referred to her as his "27th wife." The above image is from Ancestry.com and the description reads: Ann Eliza Webb, a lithograph from sometime between 1869 and 1875, from the Library of Congress. She married James Leech Dee and they had two sons, James Edward Wesley Dee in 1864 and Leonard Louis Lorenzo Dee in 1865. James Leech Dee passed away in 1897. Ann Eliza was also married to Brigham Young and Moses R. Denning.
In 1850 Eliza was 6 years old and was living in Davis, Utah, with her parents Chauncey, 39, and Eliza J., 34, and brothers Chauncey Gilbert, 14, and Edward Milo, 12 years old. Her father was working as a wagon maker and his estate was valued at $2,000. This census record showed that Chauncey and Eliza were born in New York, Chauncey, Jr., in Ohio, Edward in Missouri, and Anne in Illinois.
In 1860 Ann was 16 years old and living in Salt Lake City with her parents and brother Edward. Her father was working as a "trader" and his real estate was valued at $600 and his personal estate at $200.
By 1870, Ann was listed in the census record as Ann Young, 26, was living with her two sons, James E., 6, and Lorenzo, 5, but they were listed with the surname Young, so by that time she had married Brigham Young. According to U.S. and International Marriage Records, Ann Eliza Webb married Brigham Young in 1868. Also living with Ann was her mother, Eliza J. Webb, 53, Jane Lunn, 64, a domestic, Mary Hanson, 16, David Vaughn, 24, a hired hand, George Fife, 50, hired hand, and Thomas West, 17, hired hand. Brigham Young was probably living with one of his other many wives at the time, since he was not listed in Ann's household in the census record.
By 1880, Ann was living in Lockport, Niagra County, New York, and was listed as a 35 year old widow. She was living with her aunt Maria Murray, 59, and Ann's two sons, Edward W. Young, 16, and Lorenzo Young, 15. Ann was listed as a lecturer.
Ann Eliza Webb passed away in 1925 in Rochester, Monroe County, New York.
