Ann 'Nancy' Conway (Rector) was born on December 12, 1770 in Fauquier County, Virginia.

Her parents were Frederick Rector and Elizabeth Rector (Connor).

Ann married Runkle. Together they had the following children:

  1. Thomas Sheppard Runkle;
  2. Mary A Pelham (Runkle).

Ann married Capt. Thomas Conway on April 3, 1790 in Fauquier County, VA, United States. Together they had the following children:

  1. Henry Wharton Conway, Ark. Ter. Delegate to Congress;
  2. James Sevier Conway, 1st Gov. of Arkansas;
  3. Frederick Rector Conway;
  4. Dr. John R. Conway;
  5. Eliza Shields (Conway);
  6. Judge William Conway;
  7. Sarah Garritson (Conway);
  8. Thomas A. Conway;
  9. Elias Nelson Conway, 5th Gov. of Arkansas.
