About Ann Wilmot

Families of Ancient New Haven by Donald Lines Jacobus, pg. 1981

New Haven records: March 10, 1646 "Goody Wilmott asigned to sit in the 5th seat in the cross seats at the end of the middle seats in the meeting house."

Vital Records of New Haven: "Anne wife of old Benjamin Wilmot (died) octobr 7th 68." Her maiden name might have been Ladd.

Her tombstone was not found on the wall of the Grove Street Cemetery, in the crypt under Center Church, or moved & buried in the Grove Street Cemetery. findagrave

Disconnected from Vincent Lade and Agnes Lade.

Even if her maiden name was Ladd, and that has not been proven, "...there were at least 4 girls named Ann Lade/Ladd baptised in different places in England 1590-1600. Vincent and Agnes were not the only people with that surname in England at the time!"
