About Anna Louise Brakenridge

Curator Note:

Marriage records (attached) indicate William Henry Brakenridge married an Anna Gibbs on 08/28/1882 with her parents named Albert and Mary A. (presumably Gibbs). However the following genealogical record indicates a marriage on the same day to an Anna Louisa Bannister. The 1865, 1870, and 1880 census data (attached) indicates she was living with a Sophia Bannister with an age difference that would indicate a grand-parent relationship. So it is unclear if she was born Gibbs or married a Gibbs before William or took her grandmother's name for any number of reasons. No birth records found as of 6/3/2022. Please contact the curator with verifiable additional data. -- Jessica German, Volunteer Geni Curator
