The wife of the Reverend W. H. Gurney, brother of Mr. Somerville Gurney, ex-Mayor of Lynn, and for many years Rector of North Runcton, from which position he retired six years ago, died at the Bank House, King's Staithe Square, King's Lynn, Norfolk PE30 1RD 52.7531051, 0.39291 on Sunday, 21 November 1897, at the age of 71. She was a daughter of the late Sir John Boileau, of Kettering, first baronet, and a sister of Sir Francis Boileau. She was a constant visitor in the houses of the poor, and was ever ready to render them assistance.
