MEMORIAL PHOTOS 1 FLOWERS 5 Annie Cato, who died Feb. 6, 1925, has a widow's CSA pension application on line in the virtual vault of the GA Archives. She says she married first Ben Nipper on 4 Mar 1862. He enlisted in Company C of the 50th GA regiment and died in Savannah, GA about the first of November 1862. She then married Henry Cato, and he died about 1903 leaving her with nothing. So she applied for a pension based on her first husband's service. Proof of her own death in 1925 is included within the paperwork and witness testimony of her two marriages and circumstances.
