Annabella Drummond

• Birth: 1350

• The daughter of Sir John Drummond of Stobhall and Mary Montfichet,
• she married Prince John Stuart in 1367.
• They were crowned (John as Robert III) at Scone on August 14, 1390. The marriage produced 8 children. Annabella is known to have been very well-educated for her time.
• A letter survives which she wrote in 1394, in French, to King Richard II of England, informing him of the birth of her son, the future James I.
