About Anne Assheton, Lady Bellingham
Anne was the daughter of Sir James Pickering and widow of Sir Robert Bellingham of Burneside.
Burke's A Genealogical and Heraldic History of the Extinct and Dormant Baronetcies of England, Ireland, pg. 21, Sir Richard Assheton, knight of Middleton, m. first, Anne, dauther of Sir Thomas Strickland, knight. His second wife was Anne, Lady Bellingham, but they had no children.
His widow survived him but her date of death is unknown.

Sir Robert Bellingham was the son of Sir Roger Bellingham of Bellingham (bur. Kendal church).[1] and Mabel, dau. of Thomas Middleton of Middleton. He was disinherited by his father Sir Roger Bellingham, during the reign of Henry VIII.[1]
Marriage
Robert married Anne Pickering, daughter of James Pickering, and had four (4) daughters.
