[Signature cancelled]. In dorso: Note, dated 6 Jan. 1682, that said Sir John Cunningham granted bond for £500 to Bailie Hamiltoune. 11 September 1679: Extract Registered Assignation by Colonel Robert Cunninghame, brother to deceased William, Earl of Glencairn, in favour of Quintin McIlvaine, elder, of Grimet, of (1) bond, dated 9 & 23 June and 10 Nov. 1675, by John, Earl of Tweeddale, John, Lord Yester, his eldest son, as principals and Sir James Hay of Linplum, as cautioner, in favour of said Robert Cunninghame, Anna Scott, his spouse, and William Cunninghame their only son, for 3,000 merks; (2) bond, dated 22 Nov. 1676, by Sir John Cheislie of Kerswell, deceased, and William Demholm of Westsheill, as principals, and Thomas Stewart of Coltness, as cautioner, in favour of said Robert Cunninghame, and Anna Cunninghame, his only daughter, for 3,000 merks; (3) bond, dated 27 Mar. 1678, by Sir John Cunninghame of Lambrughton, in favour of said Robert Cunninghame, and Anna, his daughter, for 2,000 merks; and (4) bond, dated 2 Aug. 1679, by George Home and William Johnston, merchants in Edinburgh, and Mr David Home, tutor to Sir John Home of Blackadder, in favour of said Robert Cunninghame and Anna Cunninghame, his daughter, for 2,000 merks which bonds were assigned by said Robert Cunninghame in satisfaction of £6,000 tocher given to John McIlvaine, son of said Quintin, with said Anna Cunninghame, his daughter.
