About Anne Grey, Lady Cavendish
Lady Anne Grey was the daughter of Henry Grey, 1st Duke of Kent, and his first wife Jemima, daughter of Thomas, Lord Crewe. Lady Anne married Lord Charles Cavendish in 1727, becoming Lady Cavendish. Lord Cavendish was a younger son of William, 2nd Duke of Devonshire, and Rachel Russell. Lord and Lady Cavendish were the parents of Henry Cavendish, the noted British scientist famous for discovering hydrogen.
