An only daughter, Anne, who, as his first wife, married the famous Donald Macleod of Bernera, with issue, twenty children.
From the HISTORY OF THE MCLEODS:
Donald Macleod of Bernera is Donald "Old Trojan" MacLeod. " Bernera tribe," as they were called in consequence of their great number—from his sturdy character and numerous progeny, Donald was generally spoken of as "The Old Trojan."
Wife #1: Anne, daughter of Roderick Macleod, XVII. Page 250 reads, "Donald married, first, when only 18 years of age, Anne, daughter of Roderick Macleod, XVII. of Macleod, by his wife Isabel, daughter of Kenneth, third Earl of Seaforth, by his wife, also Isabel, sister of George, first Earl of Cromarty."
The marriage ceremony was performed in 1709 by the Rev. Aulay MacAulay, the great-granfather of Thomas Babington, Lord MacAulay, minister of Harris. By Anne MacLeod, Donald had issue. Donald MacLeod of Berneray had by his first wife, Anne MacLeod, seven other children, whose names have not come down to us, and who probably died in childhood. Thus his family by his first wife numbered twenty.

”Either one of the two main sources (Stirnet MacLeod02 or MacLeod Genealogy) has transposed the names of Donald's two MacLeod wives. Stirnet says Alexandria (Anne?)was dau. of Rev Donald whereas MacLeod says it was Margaret. Both confirm Anne first wife and was mother of Roderick, Norman et al.”
