Alice Pierce was born abt 1504 in East Devonshire, the daughter of Richard Pierce b1482 and his wife Elizabeth. She was Baptized at St Mary's Church shown to the right in 1504. Alice married to Henry Fitzpen in abt 1525 and had one known son with him in January 1528, John Fitzpen with surname also known as Phippen. She passed away in February 1579 in Devon having lived a long life of 75 years. She apparently was laid to rest near her husband in the St Mary Parish Churchyard according to available genealogical records.
