WHISPERING PINES — Mrs. Astrid L. Laamann, 86, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 at St. Joseph of the Pines in Southern Pines.

The funeral will be held on Monday, April 28 in the Chapel of Cox Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory at 3 p.m.. Burial will follow at Johnson Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the family visitation rooms at Cox Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, April 27 and at other times at her home.
