About Aurora A. Quezon
Aurora A. Quezon was a civic leader and First Lady of the Philippines. She served as the first Chairman of the Philippine National Red Cross after its creation in 1947. A species of Tropical Dogwood or Virgin Tree discovered in Los Banos, Laguna in 1915 and named after her in 1938 -- White Mussaenda Aurorae. The province of Aurora was named in her memory.
