There’s a chalet in the hills above Montreux, Switzerland.

I found that it was purchased in 1930 by Winifred de Bathe (McCalmont) renovated and gifted to her daughter Barbara about the time Barbara married her fifth husband Jean Wunenburger.

Though the chalet was sold in the 1940's Barbara continued to live in the Montreux area (Territet) with Wunenburger up to her death on 11 July 1970. She is buried in the little cemetery in Glion beside Wunenburger who she survived by 8 years.

The headstone is marked Ceclie Wunenburger and the papers noted her as a French citizen (as was Wunenburger).
