Last Will & Testament
The will of a Bartholomew Allerton, clerk, of Bamfield (probably Bramfield), co. Suffolk, was dated 15 Oct 1658 and proved 19 Feb 1658/9.[1] In his will, he mentions his first wife Margaret; his second wife Sarah; and his children (without specifically naming them).[10] In Sarah's own will, she names her children Isaac, Mary, Dorothy and John, and mentions her brother John (who had the surname Fairfax).[11][12][2]
