Benjamin Cutright, a son of Hendrick Henry and Elizabeth (Hornbeck) Kortregt, was born in 1740 in Kingston, Ulster County NY. In 1768 in Harrison County VA (WV), he married Catherine Wolf/Woolf. Catherine a daughter of Nicholas I and Ann Maria Woolf, was born in 1750. The 1800 Randolph County, VA Clark District Census lists Catherine. Catherine died after 1805 in VA (WV).

American Revolutionary soldier. Originally buried ina small family cemetery on Cutright's Run, his body was transferred to Hampton Cemetery at the same time as his brother John.
