About Bridget Digges
According to genealogist Douglas Richardson's Magna Carta Ancestry (2011), Leonard Digges was married to Bridget Wilsford (or Wilford) - not 'Bridget Sarah' - of Cranbrook, Kent, daughter of Thomas Wilford and Elizabeth Culpeper. They had six children: the noteworthy scientist Thomas, James, Daniel, Mary (who married a man with the last name Barber), Anne, who married William Digges (a cousin, perhaps?) and Sarah, whose first husband's last name was Martin, her second husband was John Weston, interesting: a Weston was involved with the Mayflower, possibly a member of the same family.
