Bridget Cassidy Howell, Convict "Alexander" 1816

Bridget McCarthy (aka Cassidy McCarty) was born c1785.

Bridget was convicted and sentenced to 7 years transportation. She arrived in Sydney Cove on 4/4/1816 on "Alexander".

Bridget married Samuel HOWELL shortly after her arrival and they had the following children

• Mary 1817
• Samuel 1819
• John 1821

In 1828 Bridget was convicted of receiving stolen property and was sentenced to 14 years transportation.

In 1845 Bridget had a relationship with Patrick STAFFORD

Bridget died sometime after 1857
