Brita Jönsdotter witnessed the will of Samuel Petersson on 25 November 1689; bequeathed his dwelling plantation at Christina to "he of my sons whom is longest with my loving wife."2
In 1693, Brita Jönsdotter was Head of Household on the census at Christina Hundred, Delaware, Details provided: A member of the Crane Hook Congregation. Property valued at £100.. Enumerated with her were Matthias Petersson, Peter Petersson, Brita Petersson and Elisabeth Petersson.1
Brita Jönsdotter donated £2 for the church in 1697 at Christina Hundred, Delaware.1 She was named Bridget Peterson alias Jones in the audit of quitrents in 1701 at New Castle County, Delaware.1 She died before 1 December 1702. On 1 December 1702, Matthias Petersson resigned his interest in his father's plantation to his brother Peter Petersson "as longest liver with their mother."1
