154 Benedict6 (Stephen5, Philip 4, Stephen 3, Stephen 2, William1), born March 14, 1756, in Warwick; married 1st, April 6, 1777, Lydia, daughter of George and Isabel Weaver, of East Greenwich, who died in Crompton; married 2nd, June 30, 1793, Elizabeth, daughter of Edmund and Mary Andrews, of East Greenwich, who died August 10, 1841, aged 82 years. He died April 5, 1829 ; resided in Warwick.

His will gives to son George S., and to grandsons Rhodes G., Stephen W., and Christopher (sons of Stephen).
