OAKDALE - Funeral arrangements are pending at the Pascoe-Botto Mortuary here for Charles L. Daily, 64, of Tuolumne City who died yesterday in a Sonora hospital after a short illness.

A retired rsancher, he was a native of Alabama and had resided in Tuolumne City eight years. Prior to that he was a resident of Turlock.

He was a member of the Friends Church of Cold Springs, Okla. He had been married 45 years to Edna Lee Daily of Tuolomne City, who survives him.

Other survivors are two sons, Coy of Oakdale and Verdus of Oklahoma; five brothers, Henry of Kermit, Dewey and Newton of Oklahoma, William of Fresno and George of Modesto, and eight grandchildren.
