(-1107).  The primary source which confirms his parentage has not yet been identified.  Bishop of Maurienne 1088.  According to Europäische Stammtafeln[729], he was the possible son of Comte Aimon [I].  However, the chronology is too broad for him to have been the brother of Comte Amédée [I].
