Son of the late Harold and Frieda Siesel, he was the widower of Elinor Siesel. He was an Eagle Scout. He was a graduate of Union College. He was a vteran of the Korean War. He worked in public relations and advertising with the Siesel Company for over 30 years. He wqs survived by children, Steven Siesel (Linda) and Diane Muratore (Stephen); five grandchildren; and an extended family of relatives and friends including life partner, Adelaide Hurst. His funeral was held on May 28, 2013, at Hawthorne Funeral Home in Hawthorne, NY.
