Services were held in Centerville, Ohio, in November 2006 for Donna Winchell-Gullickson. She died Nov. 20, on her 49th birthday, in Dayton, Ohio.
Donna Lynn Winchell was born in 1957 in Heidelberg, Germany, to Jerry and Betty (Pickford) Winchell. She graduated from Papillion High School in 1975 and from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1979, where she was affiliated with Alpha Delta Pi sorority.
On June 2, 1979, she was united in marriage to Dr. Dale C. Gullickson at Capehart Chapel, Offutt AFB, Neb.
Donna was a loving wife, devoted mother, wonderful daughter and sister, thoughtful nieve and granddaughter, fun aunt and a very special friend. She enjoyed attending and supporting her sons' activites, gardeingin, cooking and baking, bowling, stamp collecting and putting together fabulous family albums. She was a marvelous craftsman, especially in needlework and home decorating.
She is survived by her husband, Dale; sons, Kevin of Centerville, Ohio, Adam of Camp LeJeune, N.C.; parents, Jerry and Betty Winchell of Papillion; sister and brother-in-law, Kathryn and Joel Haskins of Omaha, Neb., brothers and sister-in-law, Steven Winchell of Barcelona, Spain, Glenn and Kris Winchell of Colorado Springs, Colo., Orrin and Carol Gullickson of Aurora, Colo.; aunts, Myrbeth K. Pickford of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, Claribel Winchell of Inion City, Penn., uncles and aunts, Bruce and Rosemary Pickford of Tabb, Va., Dr. Donald Winchell of Columbus, Ohio; mother-in-law, Lovella Gullickson, sister-in-law, Sheryl Gullickson, both of Roslyn, S.D.; nieces and nephews, Heather and Jay Haskins, Kyle and Jason Winchell, Jon and Lee Gullickson.
