8. Note: ELIZABETH OLNEY, daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth (Moseley) Olney, was born at Providence, R . I., January 31, 1666, and married John Sayles, son of John and Mary (Williams) Sayles, of Providence, about 1688. She died in 1699. Her grave and that of her son, Daniel, were still t o be found in 1894, west of the railroad track, nearly opposite the foot of Earl street, in Providence. Her grave could be identified among a clump of trees by a head-stone marked simply "E. S., 1699."
