About Esperanza Solis-Javier
Esperanza Solis-Javier was a Filipino politician. She initially served as councilor of Culasi, Antique from January 1, 1938 to April 23, 1938. She then served as municipal vice president (later vice mayor) from April 23, 1938 to March 24, 1942. She became the mayor upon the death of then-mayor Marciano Magsipoc, but she resigned later that year. She served again as mayor from September 1944 to December 31, 1945. She became councilor again from 1948 to 1951, and finally from 1964 to 1971.
