About Flóki Vilgerðarson

Flóki ( Floke Vilgerdsson) son of Glamur and Vilgerðar Hörða-Káradóttir ( Vilgerd Horda-Kåresdatter) went to Iceland and occupied Flókadal between Flókadalsár and Reykjarhól; he lived on Moi. Flóki had Gró, Þórðar's sister from Höfða. One son was Oddleifur stafur, who lived in Stafshóli and shared with Hjaltason. On of Flóke's daughters was Þjóðgerður, mother of Koðrán, father of Þjóðgerðr, mother of Koðrán, father of Kár in Vatnsdal.
Floke left wesrt Norway 868 with his family also including the sons Trond Gata, Torlak Ravna-Flokeson.
Iceland or what at the time was called Gardarsholm after the Swedish discoverer Gardar Svavarsson later was named Iceland after Floke
