-----------------------------

He was Emperor of Rome (384-388). He is said to have been an infant in 384 and probably his father's oldest living son, when he was created Augustus by his father, thus becoming joint Emperor in name.

However, when his father invaded Italy in 387, he left Victor in Trier under the care of the generals Quintinus and Nannienus. This fact suggests that Victor was then an adult. After his father's defeat, Victor was killed in Gaul by Count Arbogast.
