Francois Janis married Simone Brosseau on 14 Nov. 1704 at Immaculee Conception in Trois Rivieres (Quebec).

He and Simone are listed in Denissen's "French Families of the Detroit River Region".

I think it might be possible that Francois died in Kaskaskia (Illinois) in April of 1724.
