About Freyda Chana Averbug
Born around 1883 in Kishinev to Mikhel and Leya Brik, from the prominent Brik merchant family. Granddaughter of Abram Brik, who established the family wood factory and money exchange business in Kishinev.
Married Samuel Averbuch around 1901. They had they first son, Abraham, in Kishinev.
Emigrated to Bahía Blanca, Argentina after the Kishinev pogroms, where she had son Gregorio (Hirsch) and a daughter who died in infancy.
Later emigrated to Brazil, where she passed away in August 19, 1923, aged 40. She was survived by her husband and two sons.
