About George Brock Jr
Biography
https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Brock-693
Moses Brock is believed to be the son of George Brock, known as George Brock II and Catherine Morgan Brock. George Moses Brock received a land grant in Wataugah #243, North Carolina, for 150 acres on 24/10/1782. This area became part of Tennessee. He married Susannah Dyer Hill as her second husband in 1793.
Disputed origins
This George Brock has been attributed to George Frederick Brock and Katherine Napier who lived in Shenandoah valley and died in South Carolina. (See research notes below). This couple did have a Moses Brock as a son who was born in Buncombe County Nc, 1780-1831 d. in Habersham County, Ga. I cannot find another Moses in same generation.
