George Jordan (son of Arthur II Jordan and Elizabeth Bevin) was born 1653 in Southwark Parish, Surry County, Virginia, and died May 13, 1718 in Surry County, Virginia. He married Mary Brown, daughter of William Browne and Mary Browne.
George was born along the south bank of the James River, and after first living on lands inherited from his father near sunken Marsh, he later in life moved to a patent further south in Surry County near the Nottoway River. George left a will in Surry County naming six sons: George, Arthur, Thomas, James, River, Charles, and two married daughters, Mary Anderson and Elizabeth Bailey. His will was dated 18 May 1718 and recorded 20 Aug 1718.
George Jordan-[2020] (Arthur3, Unknown1) was born about 1657 in Southwark Parish, Surry County, VA and died on 20 Aug 1718 in Surry County, VA.

Not mentioned in fathers will probably dead by 1704, but her daughter Mary (granddaughter of Col. Wm Browne) was included in his will.
