Gisele de Chevreuse appears on one popular genealogy [2] with a birth year of 978.

Birth Location

She is presently shown as born in Beaumont, Normandy. This, however, may reflect her marriage to Ivo de Beaumont, which appears to be disproved.

Birth location: there are several places called Beaumont in Normandy: Beaumont-en-Auge, Beaumont-Hague, Beaumont-le-Hareng, Beaumont-le-Richard, and Beaumont-le-Roger. This profile however showed "Beaumont-sur-Oise, Normandie" as birth place. Beaumont-sur-Oise is not in Normandy and never was. At any rate, the precise birth place of someone born at this period is unlikely to be known. Beaumont here probably refers to a fief.

Since she is "of Chevreuse", a more likely place of birth might be Wikipedia: Chevreuse itself, which like Beaumont-sur-Oise is near Paris.

This Ivo, however, is Ivo de Beaumont, who is well documented by Charles Cawley [4], but whose is married to Emma and not to Gisele. Her link to this marriage has therefore been removed.

She is shown as the mother of Ivo III de Beaumont and also Ermengarde de Beaumont. [2]. Ermengarde may be the daughter she is currently shown with. Since she is not the wife of Ivo II, she is not the mother of Ivo III, and therefore she has been disconnected from that relationship.
