Biography
Gregory Glascock (or Glasscock) was born in 1634 in London, Middlesex, England to Thomas Glascock and Jane Juet. [1][2][3] Gregory died 1694, North Farnham Parish, Richmond County, Virginia.[9][10]
Gregory married Mary Fauntleroy around 1670 in Virginia.[4] There are two Mary Fauntleroys that have been confused over the years. This Mary is the daughter of William.[5]

She married 2nd on 30 Nov. 1695 to Richard Peacock (1630-aft 1695)

"Gregory Glasscock of Farnham Rappahannock County and Mary his wife conveys land to Thomas Glasscock formerly granted to his father Thomas Glasscock on Moratico Creek on 18 Jany 1662 Date of the conveyance May 2 1683 Rappahannock Records."[11]

TO ALL XPIAN PEOPLE to whom this present Deed or Instrument shall come in the year of our Lord God everlasting 1695, I RICHARD PEACOCK of the Parish of NORTHFARNHAM in the County of Richmond Gent: send greeting. Whereas the said RICHARD PEACOCK hath lately married and take to Wife, MARY GLASCOCK, the Relict & Administratrx, of GEO: GLASCOCK, late of this County deced., Now for the love & natural affection which I bear unto my loving Wife and her Children and for their better & further advancement and good and for diverse other good causes me theretunto especially moving have under the Conditions and Covenants hereafter in these presents mentioned granted unto her Children the sum of Ten thousand pounds of tobacco after my decease in manner and form following, that is to say, and first I the said RICHARD PEACOCK do promise that I will at the time of my decease (if it shall please God that I do survive MARY PEACOCK my now Wife) give unto her Child or Children as I shall think best to dispose the said sum of Ten thousand pounds of tobacco unto & best like, and the Executors of my Last Will and Testament to pay the same as in these presents is expressed as shall be nominated and appointed in my last Will & Testament if make any but if in case it shall happen that I die first that then I do by this Deed and Instrument in writing give and make over all my Estate which I shall then be possessed with at the time of my decease unto MARY PEACOCK my now Loving Wife, And she to dispose or otherwise bequeath by Will or any other way unto such Child or Children, person or persons as she stall think fitt at her death and Lastly I the said RICHARD PEACOCK do further promise that I will at all times herafter within the space of three months next and immediately from date of these presents or when required by my now Wife in he open Court of the County of Richmond that shall be held before his Majestys Justices of the said County make this present Deed to be acknowledged and recorded for the uses mentioned for the confirming whereof I have sett my hand and seal the last day of November in the year above mentioned
