About Grissell Cornell

Grissell's birth is estimated to be before 1650 based on marriage in 1668 (and considering parent's marriage in 1643). According to Source:TAG, p. 56:148, "John & Lot Strange or Portsmouth, RI: England Background" by Jane Fletcher Fiske, the marriage of Grizzel is the first documented event showing that her parents had come to New England, so presumably born in England (parents marriage is found in Furneux-Pelham, Hertfordshire, England).
