Note from Pam Wilson--this profile had been merged with that of Oslac, who was the banished Ealdorman of Northumbria (975). I separated them back into two separate identities. Each had a son named Thored, but it was Gunnar's son Thored who likely succeeded Oslac as Ealdorman.
