Hannah Beals was born about 1745 in Frederick County, Virginia. She was the daughter of John Beals and Margaret Hunt.
Hannah Beals married William Hoggatt, son of Philip Hoggatt and Mary Glendennings, before 30 May 1760 in Guilford County, North Carolina. Their marriage was reported to the New Garden Monthly Meeting, Rowan County (now Guilford), North Carolina the 30th day, 5th month, 1760 (30 May 1760). Hannah became a widow at her husband's death between September 1771 and November 1771.
Hannah Beals married Joseph Cloud on 22 April 1790 in Guilford County, North Carolina.
Hannah died on 4 February 1804 in Guilford County, North Carolina.
