There are two dates for the marriage of Mary Haile to Henry King-- 9 September 1663 and 6 July 1668. Both marriages stated to be in Virginia, however no source is cited for either date.
We know Henry King married Mary a daughter of Nicholas Hale because on 12 November 1672 in Lancaster County, Virginia, Henry King was named as the husband of Mary, the daughter of Nicholas & Mary Hale, in a court order to divide the personal estate of Nicholas and Mary[1] [2] [3]

Mary Haile, b. 6 Jul 1652, York County, Virginia d. Aft 1725, St. Paul's Parish, Baltimore County, Maryland (Age > 74 years) Mary Haile, daughter of Nicholas Haile and his wife Mary, married 2nd to Charles Merryman about 1677 in Lancaster County. 5 children by her 2nd marriage.

- Henry King b. abt 1675, d. Apr 1718, Baltimore County, Maryland (Age ~ 43 years). married Tabitha Long.

- Mary King (b. abt 1673 - d. abt 1739 in Baltimore. "Mary's origin is not proven. Her birth is an estimate based on the estimated birth of her first child, Elizabeth Stevenson Barney in abt. 1698. If Mary was 18 at the time of her birth, Mary would be born in 1680. Three men with the King surname are found among Baltimore County land records buying property in the county before 1700 that could be her father or brother: Thomas, Henry and Richard.[1] Henry seems to warrant the most research since they named a child Henry.
