Military Service: CSA, Co. I-20, Ga. Inf.

His widow's pension application cites 20th GA but there is also a record for him in Co. K of the 41st Georgia. Captured and paroled at Vicksburg July 1863. Since he died at home on furlough (because of disease), he is indeed likely buried at Salt Springs -- but has no inscribed marker. Courtesy S Whittington (#47601588)
