Ruth O'Hair
Ruth O'Hair, 80, of Centerville died Saturday, Feb. 3, 1990 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines where she had been a patient for three weeks. She was born on Sept. 26, 1909 in Centerville to T. J. and Mattie Tadlock Leek. She was united in marriage on May 11, 1929 in Centerville to Lester O'Hair. He preceded her in death on Dec. 29, 1968.
Also preceding her in death were one brother, Leonard Leek; two sisters, Belle Annis and Cleo Swank; and three infant brothers.
Survivors include a daughter. Mrs. Leo (Pat) Crow of Centerville; two sons, Leonard O'Hair of West Des Moines and Edward O'Hair of Urbandale: a sister, Martha Alexander of Scottsdale, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and a great granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 6, 1990 at 10 a.m. at the Duley Funeral Home in Centerville with the Rev. Carl Hcicn officiating with burial in the Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be held tonight from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Duley Funeral Home. A memorial has been established to St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital.
