The primary source which confirms her name as Ingeltrudis has not yet been identified. Eckhardt suggests that Heinrich’s wife (whom he calls Ingeltrudis) was the daughter of Eberhard Marquis of Friulia & his wife Gisela [Carolingian], and therefore sister of Berengario I King of Italy[96]. This appears chronologically tight, although possible.
