About Jaime C. de Veyra

Jaime de Veyra was a Filipino patriot, statesman, scholar and journalist. He was Governor of Leyte from 1906 to 1907. He was a member of the Philippine House of Representatives from 1907 to 1909. He was appointed tp the Philippine Commission In 1913. He was elected Resident Commissioner to the US House of Representatives in 1917, and held this position until 1923.
