Inquisitions Post Mortem for Joan the late wife of William de Harecourt. Writ, 1 August, 43 Edward III [1369]. She died at Elnehale, co. Stafford, on the feast of St. Mary Magdalene last [22 July 1369]. Thomas de Harecourt, knight, aged 26 years and more, was her heir male as younger (postnatus) son of herself and William de Harecourt. Elizabeth wife of Thomas de Astele, the younger, aged 20 years and more is her heir general, as daughter and heir of Richard de Harecourt, knight, her eldest son and heir by William her late husband.
