John le Fowler III

M, b. circa 1350, d. 1412

John was born at Shryvenham, Berkshire, England.1 He was the son of John le Fowler II and Miss (?) de Hartleigh. John married Margaret Loveday, daughter of Henry Loveday, between 1375 and 1380 at England.2 He purchased an estate in Buckinghamshire and called it "Foxley". Margaret was the "Loveday" heiress.3 John died in 1412 at Buckinghamshire, England, during the reign of Henry IV.4

The village is close to the county boundary with Wiltshire and about 6 miles (10 km) northeast of Swindon. Shrivenham was part of Berkshire until the 1974 boundary changes transferred the Vale of White Horse to Oxfordshire
