John was married in 1809, Patrick County, Virginia, where he and wife, Amelia "Millie" Mabry made their home and raised their children who include, Thomas Reynolds (wife Nancy Hicks), Charles B Reynolds (wife, Nancy Hill), James B Reynolds (wife Roxanne Shelor), John B "Jack" Reynolds (wife, Mary Barker), Joshua M Reynolds (wife Catherine Alderman), Pleasant Clemuel Reynolds, (wife, Nancy Barker), Sarah J Reynolds (husband Mark Cox), Miss Lucinda Reynolds, Jesse Reynolds (wife, Rachel Sutphin), Rachel Reynolds (husband Robert Dalton), Nathaniel Reynolds (wife Rhoda O'Neal), Amelia Reynolds (husband John O'Neal).

He has no Middle Name. "Fulton" is commonly added because of the General John Fulton Reynolds that was killed in Gettysburg. This is not the same John Reynolds.
