His will lists properties in Honyden, Eton Barford,Great Barford, Southmylles and Harrold all in Bedforshire. he =1. Anne Arnolds-, his cousin, (dau. & heiress of Robert Arnolds-Gent. of St. Neots and Alice Spencer - ... Date: 1533-1538 These lands in Harrold are mentioned in John Spencer's will proving the litigation by Christine Dale naming the same land is the same Christian/ Christine, as John Spencer's 2nd wife who survived him. Her maiden name was probably not "Baker" she was confused with the Ethelredea Baker who married another contemporary cousin "John Spencer who's will was probated in 1568." His probated will states his father as Robert Spencer. His will names 3 children and 1 sister and 2 other Spencer relations.His 3 chidren as proved are;Thomas Spencer b. Other facts and litiagion info related to the John Spencer on this page: "Devil Hoe" was another name for Eton-Socun, but curiously it is an older name used only in the Xiii century, so I suspect this land was the same land that Thomas Spencer Gent. of Eton-Geton(Socun)Beds held in the Visitation of 1433 , but the name of the remained relevant for this land within the family up the time of court case of 1473-74. 4.
