John Friederich Walz

John Friederich Walz was born on 21 June 1874 in Freeport, Illinois, to parents Sebastian Walz (born 1843 in Kuppenheim, Germany) and Mary Anna Berger (born 1850 in Canada).

He was Catholic and worked as a meat market operator and farmer.

Note: Numerous on-line trees give incorrect death date and location details. Per the combination of his obituary, funeral report, and gravestone, he died 12 January 1961 at Benthack Hospital in Wayne, Wayne County, Nebraska.
